No separate amplifier module is required to power this monitor. A modern Class D amplifier provides a total power of 415 watts. A substantial reserve for various live situations. The woofer measures 12 inches and gets 350 watts. It has little trouble with the reproduction of lower frequencies - the M12 already reproduces from 65 Hertz. The highs come from a 1-inch neodymium compression driver, which is allocated 65 watts. The Class D amplifier is particularly efficient in its power generation. In addition to a crystal clear sound, there is very little heat development.

The M12 receives power via the well-known locking blue connector. The audio input is in the form of a combined XLR/jack connection. Daisy-chaining is possible via the XLR link-out and the lockable AC link. In addition to a volume knob, there are two switches. One for setting the EQ preset: monitor or FOH. FOH can be used when the M12 is used upright on a (35 mm) speaker stand. The other switch is for the ground lift.
